The bible also says that we are to "tear down strongholds" and Paula White taught me years ago that she grabs things from the spirit by reaching her hands out and taking them by faith in the physical act of her stretching out her hands and grabbing the air and moving it around as she is directed.
This is an act of faith. If we do not have faith we do not please God.
God was a creator and we are formed and made in HIS image therefore we are creators... creators ... inventors... movers... and shakers that is... if you are born again and empowered with HIS HOLY spirit.
You can call those things that are not as though they were. You can call things into existence just like God did if you have the faith to believe for it and if you are about the father's business... with man it may be impossible but nothing shall be impossible with God.
Don't call Christian's crazy just because they have radical faith. Christians know that the non believers have not come into the knowledge of the truth so Christians can tolerate the indifference of non believers a bit easier as long as no one is being persecuted that is!
As a born again Christian who practices the gifts of the Holy Spirit....we are admonished in the scripture to do this only in the presence of fellow Christian believers. Because some prayers require extra faith the bible tells us that sometimes fasting is required to be coupled with the prayer.
